As you step into our charming artisan coffee shop, the warm scent of fresh coffee greets. You can indulge in delicious cakes, sandwiches, hot meals, and a variety of beverages. However, the true heart of our cafe awaits you upstairs, where we’ve transformed what was once a function room, into a heavenly haven for our feline friends.

The Purpose Behind Our Cafe

Our mission goes beyond rescuing cats; it aims to give them a home where they can feel safe and cherished. We believe that every cat deserves a second chance. Our aim is to shower them with endless attention and love. Each cat isn’t just an animal; they are family members with unique personalities and backstories that will surely warm your heart.

Our cafe acts as a vital support system, not only providing affection but also addressing the ongoing needs of our furry companions. We strive to create an environment that extends beyond comfort; it’s about creating a true sense of belonging. For the past 6 years we have been involved in rescuing street cats in Qatar in an unplanned rescue mission that grew as more cats came to our doorstep.

Meet the 16 Rescued Cats

Each cat in our cafe has a story worth telling. The majority came from difficult backgrounds, while others simply needed a loving home. Let’s meet a few of the vibrant personalities you can expect to find during your visit:

Norman - The Adorable Attention Seeking Wobbly-bottom

Allow me to introduce our amazing Norman! He was discovered on a slip road next to a motorway. I noticed him and made a two-mile round trip to rescue him. Carefully, I picked him up and brought him home, where it quickly became clear that he had a neurological issue. He was taken to the vets, who suspected that this problem may have been present since birth. After spending a week at the vet receiving treatment, he returned home to join our family. He absolutely loves people and thrives on attention.

Jasmine - The Fiery Survivor

Meet Jasmine, our fiery little kitty and sister to Tatty. As one of a group of three kittens we rescued, she’s a true survivor, hand-reared from just three weeks old after a tragic accident took their mother. Despite battling Calici virus that affected her severely, Jasmine remains a spirited little warrior. Although she lost an eye and her vision is challenged by a ulcer in the other, nothing stops her from exploring and enjoying life to the fullest! Be prepared to be sniffed but dont let her cuteness and size fool you, she can bite!

Rocket- The Disco Shadow Dancer

Rocket is Jasper's playful brother, always bringing excitement to our home. Rocket is a quiet little boy, who finds joy in chasing shadows and patterns on the wall. To add to his fun, we've recently got him his very own disco ball, creating a magical atmosphere where shadows dance and patterns come to life. It's a delightful addition that sparks his imagination!

Together, these cats create a unique atmosphere where visitors can enjoy their favourite beverages and the delightful company of our furry friends.

A Unique Dining Experience

Upstairs, we offer a lighter menu that complements the cafe experience. You can savour options like fresh salads, light bites, and delightful cakes perfect to enjoy whilst sitting with our feline companions. Whether you’re sipping on a refreshing drink a or indulging in a slice of our delicious cakes, the soft purring and playful interactions of the cats elevate the experience. Engaging with these cats can also help raise awareness about animal welfare, giving an insight as to how a cat feels and responds to its environment and how individual characters shine through.
