Where it all started

In Memory of Blu
02/2019 - 09/2023
Our journey started on a beautiful walk along the Corniche in Qatar where we rescued Blu, a lovely tabby who was just 5 weeks old and in distress with a broken leg. Instead of leaving her, we rushed her to the vet, where she received the care she needed. This marked the start of an unexpected rescue mission. As we connected with other rescuers, we quickly realised the serious issue of stray cats in Qatar. We have personally funded numerous Trap, Neuter, and Release (TNR) efforts to help decrease the number of kittens born, many of whom only have a 25% chance of survival. This initiative also helps lessen the competition for scarce food and water, as well as the risk of spreading dangerous diseases. The struggle for survival is tough, especially with temperatures often soaring above 50 degrees, and the average lifespan of a cat being just 2 years.
Throughout the years, we have saved over 30 cats from unsurvivable situations. Each one received veterinary care, but sadly, not all of them made it. Among the survivors, we have successfully relocated 16 to the UK, with 3 more expected to arrive soon. They are currently housed in a specially designed extension at the back of our home, along with a 20ft catio that keeps them safe while allowing them some outdoor time .
Our Cats
Bonnie

Our beautiful Bonnie, an incredibly intelligent girl who seeks the source of any interaction before joining in. She thrives on love and attention, enjoying every moment of fuss and cuddles. Bonnie is one of five kittens we took in when they were less than 24 hours old, and her curious nature truly sets her apart.
Max

Meet Max, a charming cat who blossomed into his stunning looks over time. As a kitten, he sported an adorable bulbous nose and big, curious eyes that captured hearts. He is the loving brother of Bonnie and Chloe, and his calm, gentle demeanour makes him a joy to be around. Max even responds to his name, showcasing his sweet and affectionate nature.
Chloe

Meet Chloe, our little princess. She may be quiet and small, but her gentle nature shines through. Though she can be a bit shy and nervous at first, once she warms up to you, she'll bask in the love of cuddles and attention. Chloe truly thrives on affection and is sure to steal your heart.
Lucy

Lucy is the 4th sibling of Bonnie, Max and Chloe, the 5th Lily (the double of Lucy) was adopted to a wonderful lady who took her to her home country when she left Qatar. Lucy fought the odds to survive panleukopenia (all 5 kittens were lucky to survive) however Lucy was the worst affected and has been left with irritable bowel syndrome, we have to be very careful with her diet.
Jasper

Meet Jasper, a lovely spirit with captivating blue eyes. He seeks attention and is aware of when it's time to eat, and he'll let you know! He enjoys playing with hair, but when he gets too excited, he might nip, so keep in mind that those stunning blue eyes can be deceiving!
Rocket

Rocket is Jasper's playful brother, always bringing excitement to our home. Rocket is a quiet little boy, who finds joy in chasing shadows and patterns on the wall. To add to his fun, we've recently got him his very own disco ball, creating a magical atmosphere where shadows dance and patterns come to life. It's a delightful addition that sparks his imagination!
Charlie

Charlie showed up at our window as a tiny kitten and managed to get inside the house. He snuggled up to my husband, by the time I returned home from work he had already been named Charlie and had officially become part of our family. He tends to be somewhat of a bully to the other cats and enjoys putting them in their place.
Smokie

Smokie was discovered in the compound, clearly a dumped cat at about 5 months old. We brought her to the vet for spaying and vaccinations, and she chose to stay with us, making our home hers. She is a calm, peaceful cat who enjoys gentle affection.
Gabby

Gabby 'the gob' has been a chatterbox since she first arrived at just 3 days old! With her amazing personality, she loves to play fetch and will eagerly return a ball to you. She's truly embracing life to the fullest after being given a second chance.
Tatty

Tatty Teddy has been a beloved character since she first arrived at just 3 weeks old.
She has a strong personality and loves being the centre of attention. However, she can be a bit temperamental, so please keep in mind that when you give her attention, it should be on her terms - she might nip unexpectedly!
Jasmine

Meet Jasmine, our fiery little kitty and sister to Tatty. As one of three kittens we rescued, she’s a true survivor, hand-reared from just three weeks old after a tragic accident took their mother. Despite battling Calici virus that affected her severely Jasmine remains a spirited little warrior. And although she lost an eye and her vision is challenged by a ulcer in the other, nothing stops her from exploring and enjoying life to the fullest! Be prepared to be sniffed but dont let her cuteness and size fool you, she can nip!
Sammie

This unfortunate little fellow was treated like a ragdoll by the children on our compound. We brought him to the vet to get neutered and receive his vaccinations for better survival. After he was released back outside, he was found under the car, crying out as another cat attacked him, so we brought him back inside and he has remained with us ever since.
Sky

Meet Sky. We welcomed her into our home when she was just 5 months old, after our neighbour decided she no longer wanted her and abandoned her. We brought her to the vet for a facial injury and had her spayed. Once we took her home, she never left. She enjoys some attention but isn't fond of being handled, likely because her previous owner had a 6-year-old son who bothered her. She may nip if she feels overwhelmed, so please be gentle with her.
Drax

Drax was discovered in high temperatures within a puddle of water caused by a leaking AC unit. We promptly took him to the vet since he appeared clearly unwell, where he received fluids and medication. Upon returning home, we noticed his sister Mantis (We call them the twins) was in the same exact spot, so we decided to bring her in as well. He enjoys cuddling with you when he chooses, but he prefers not to be handled.
Mantis

Mantis is Drax's sister. She is a lovely little girl, but like her brother, she doesn't enjoy being picked up. However, she is more than happy to come and sit next to you.
Norman

Allow me to introduce our amazing Norman! He was discovered on a slip road next to a motorway. I noticed him and made a two-mile round trip to rescue him. Carefully, I picked him up and brought him home, where it quickly became clear that he had a neurological issue. He was taken to the vets, who suspected that this problem may have been present since birth. After spending a week at the vet receiving treatment, he returned home to join our family. He absolutely loves people and thrives on attention.
